After taking in Hamish Bowles' PMA lecture on Balenciaga, I wandered into Schmidt-Dean Gallery tonight in Philly. In a little side room I found a series of new works by Dean Daas. I was blown away: luminous, biomorphic things that are saturated with color, almost like flesh. They're up until April 24th, so pop in if you can.
